Shetland-Sheep have been grazing on the islands for over a thousand years, since the Viking Age. Unlike modern breeds, Shetland-sheep produce wool in a natural color spectrum—ranging from white to gray-brown to deep moor brown—without any dyeing. These natural, undyed shades are the oldest colors of Shetland wool: just as the wool comes directly from the sheep, straight from the island’s natural environment.
Shetland wool is spun on the islands and woven on the Scottish mainland. The natural gray and brown tones are achieved without dyes—sustainable and authentic. 100% wool · 210 × 150 cm (with fringes) · 1,000 g · Limited edition.

Shetland wool comes from sheep on the Shetland Islands—one of the harshest and most remote landscapes in Great Britain. The fibers are slightly thicker and more voluminous than regular lambswool, which makes these blankets particularly heavy and warm. Shetland wool is known for its exceptional durability—a true heirloom blanket.
Measuring 210 × 150 cm, this blanket is significantly larger than a standard wool blanket—it works well as a bedspread on a single bed or as a generous throw on a double bed. Its XXL size also makes it ideal as a sofa blanket for two people.
