Cashmere, Merino , and Silk: Lightweight Stoles from Scotland
Lightweight. Versatile. All year round.
What unites this collection isn't the material—it's the weight. Lightweight enough to be worn year-round. Versatile enough for any occasion.
Kinalba ’s cashmere-silk scarves (190×70 cm, starting at €195) are made of 55% silk and 45% the finest Mongolian cashmere. The silk lends a distinctive sheen and smoothness that pure wool cannot match; the cashmere provides natural warmth. The lightest and most elegant piece in the collection—available in solid colors and subtle check patterns, with fringed edges. Dry clean only. Frequently Asked Questions About Lightweight Scarves & Stoles
The collection includes three distinctly different lines: Kinalba Cashmere-Silk Scarves (55% silk, 45% cashmere, 190×70 cm, starting at €195) — the lightest, most lustrous piece, ideal for spring and summer. Lochcarron Extra Fine Merino Stoles (100% Merino, 200×70 cm, starting at €89) — ultra-thin, perfect for year-round wear, the most accessible piece. Lochcarron Wool-Cashmere Stolas (95% wool, 5% cashmere, 210×68 cm, starting at €119) — the warmest and most generously sized option, featuring classic tartan patterns for fall and winter.
The Lochcarron Extra Fine Merino stole (100% Merino, 200×70 cm) can be worn year-round thanks to its light weight and the natural temperature-regulating properties of merino wool—as a light shawl in the summer and as a warm layer in the fall. The Kinalba cashmere-silk shawls are also suitable for warmer seasons. For heavier cashmere stoles for winter, we recommend the Kinalba cashmere stoles.
All three lines feature fringe—so the following applies to all of them: dry clean only; never machine wash, hang to dry, or wring out. Always check the individual care label. With proper care, these pieces will retain their shape and softness for many years.
