Our History
The Scotland Shop was founded in 2020 after I had lived in Germany as a Scot for six years. During that time, my wife and I enjoyed talking with locals about how beautiful Scotland is, the friendliness of the people, the amazing landscape and nature, and the unique and wonderful products the country has to offer. This enduring interest in Scotland inspired me to start selling Scottish products online and bring a little piece of Scotland to Germany.
Our mission at our Scotland Shop is to source high-quality products that are beautifully crafted yet durable and will stand the test of time. Our textile manufacturers are world-renowned and use only the finest fibers to create exquisite products made from lambswool and cashmere. It is also important to us to provide friendly and helpful service and to replicate the experience found in Scotland here in Germany.
We are pleased to be able to support small, family-run businesses in Scotland in this way and look forward to expanding our business in Germany to support our region.
