Isle of Barra ist die suedlichste groessere Insel der Aeusseren Hebriden — ein kleines Eiland von etwa 2.000 Seelen, umgeben von tueerkisblauem Atlantikwasser, weissen Muschelsandstraenden und windgepeitschten Moorflaechen. Sie ist der einzige Ort der Welt, an dem planmaessige Linienfluege auf einem Naturstrand landen: Flugzeuge setzen direkt auf dem Cockle Strand auf, wobei der Fahrplan nach Gezeiten ausgerichtet wird. Diese unvergleichliche Verbindung zwischen Wildnis und Alltag ist der Geist, den diese Tartan Wolldecke traegt.
Die Tartan Wolldecke Isle of Barra wird in Schottland aus 100% reiner Schurwolle gewebt. Das warme Erdtonmuster in Grun und Braun erinnert an die Moore und Felstuesten der Hebriden. In die weichen Fasern ist ein natuerlicher Lavendelduft eingearbeitet. Erhaeltlich in zwei Groessen: 150 x 180 cm (ca. 1.100 g) und 150 x 200 cm (ca. 1.250 g).

All Kuuhi Tartan wool blankets are infused with a natural lavender scent. The scent is particularly intense when you unpack the blanket and lingers for quite some time—it fades naturally over time. In Scotland, lavender is traditionally considered a natural moth repellent for wool products.
