This Kuuhi Ben Lomond picnic blanket features a diamond pattern —one of the oldest weaving motifs in Scottish textile history. The diamond-shaped lozenge pattern can be traced back to historical Scottish weaving archives as far back as the 16th century, long before tartan acquired its current name. It is the original pattern of Highland weaving: geometric, timeless, and symmetrical from every angle. Woven in Scotland in a rich green from 100% pure lambswool, with a waxed cotton underside that reliably keeps you dry even on damp grass and wet sand.

The leather straps with brass clasps are sold separately. Also available in midnight blue — Loch Ness — and red.
