Extra-fine merino wool comes from specially bred merino sheep and is significantly finer than regular merino wool—with a fiber diameter of less than 18.5 microns. The result is a fabric that is exceptionally soft against the skin, doesn’t itch, and still keeps you warm. Ideal for stoles worn directly against the skin.

All Lochcarron Extra Fine Merino stoles measure 200×70 cm, including the fringe. Their generous size allows for a variety of ways to wear them: as a flowing shawl draped over the shoulders, as a knotted scarf, as a wrap, or as a light blanket for cool evenings.
