Lochcarron Extra-Fine " Merino " Stole | " Bruce of Kinnaird " Ancient Tartan

Bruce of Kinnaird n Ancient is named after the Bruce clan—the same clan to which Robert the Bruce belonged, who led Scotland to independence at the Battle of Bannockburn in 1314. The “Ancient” version features the softer, more natural shades of the pre-1860 era, when wool was still dyed with plant- and animal-based dyes.

The warmest color palette in the entire “ Merino ” stole collection: a rich orange as the base tone, accented with warm green, delicate pink, and white —the colors of a Scottish autumn. Heather, fallen leaves, moss, and fog. Anyone familiar with Scotland in October will recognize this palette immediately.
