Das Bruce of Kinnaird Ancient trägt den Namen des Clans Bruce — desselben Clans, dem Robert the Bruce angehörte, der Schottland in der Schlacht von Bannockburn 1314 in die Unabhängigkeit führte. Die „Ancient"-Variante verwendet die sanfteren, naturnahen Farbtöne der Zeit vor 1860, als Wolle noch mit pflanzlichen und tierischen Farbstoffen gefärbt wurde.

Die wärmste Palette der gesamten Merino Stola Kollektion: sattes Orange als Grundton, durchzogen von warmem Grün, zartem Rosa und Weiß — die Farben eines schottischen Herbstes. Heidekraut, Laub, Moos und Nebel. Wer Schottland im Oktober kennt, erkennt diese Palette sofort.
