The Chisholm clan has Norman roots—its ancestors settled in Roxburghshire, on the Scottish-English border, as early as the 13th century. The Chisholm Hunting Blue is the hunting variant of the clan tartan: a variation on the “ Tartan ” designed for the outdoors—subtle, but not plain.

The color palette is extraordinary: a deep, calm blue as the base, interspersed with light green and subtle white overchecks with small orange accents. The orange is surprising—warm, precisely placed—and it is precisely this accent that sets Chisholm Hunting Blue apart from all other blue tartans.

This Lochcarron Extrafine Merino stole is light as a feather and can be worn year-round.
