Und Weathered — Farbtöne, die das natürliche Verblassen von Tartan nach Jahren im Regen und Wind simulieren.

Das Paradoxe: die Weathered-Variante gilt als die historisch authentischere. Bevor synthetische Farbstoffe im 19. Jahrhundert eingeführt wurden, sahen schottische Tartans genau so aus — weiches Ocker, erdiges Grau, gedämpftes Moosgrün, aus natürlichen Pflanzen- und Mineralfarbstoffen gewonnen. Das "Weathered Hunting" ist das Tartan, wie es immer war, bevor es bunt wurde.
