The Fair Islestyle originates from the island of the same name north of the Scottish coast—where knitters have been creating geometric multicolored patterns in concentric stripes that never repeat for centuries. Since 1874, William Lockie at Hawick has been reinterpreting this tradition using the finest 2-ply Geelong lambswool yarn —light, warm, and exceptionally soft.
This sweater features a Fair Isle pattern with blue as the base color—a deep, clear blue that makes the pattern colors stand out in vivid contrast. Ribbed cuffs at the collar, sleeves, and hem ensure a classic, timeless fit. The brown version is available for the warm brown of the “ Driftwood ” colorway, and the beige version for a light neutral. Made in Scotland Since 1874.
