Der Name Cairngorm stammt aus dem Schottisch-Gälischen — Càrn Gorm, „blauer Fels“ — und ist zugleich der Name der gesamten Gebirgskette östlich von Inverness. Früher nannten die Einheimischen sie auch Am Monadh Ruadh: die Roten Hügel, nach den warmen Rosatönen des Granits, der in der Abendstunde leuchtet. Heute sind die Cairngorms Schottlands einziges Hochgebirge — die größte Wildnislandschaft der britischen Inseln, mit Ospreys, Rothirschen und Gipfeln, die im Winter Schnee tragen, wenn tief im Tal längst Frühling ist.
Die Tartan Wolldecke Cairngorm spiegelt diese Farbwelt wider: ein warmer Braun-Beige-Grundton, der an den Granitfels und das Herbstmoor erinnert, durchzogen von lebhaften Streifen in Pink, Gelb und Blau. In Schottland aus 100 % reiner Lammwolle gewebt, mit einem natürlichen Lavendelduft in den Fasern. Erhältlich in zwei Größen: 150 × 180 cm (ca. 1.100 g) und 150 × 200 cm (ca. 1.250 g).

All Kuuhi Tartan wool blankets are infused with a natural lavender scent. The scent is particularly intense when you unpack the blanket and lingers for quite some time—it fades naturally over time. In Scotland, lavender is traditionally considered a natural moth repellent for wool products.
