Staffa is an uninhabited island off the west coast of Mull —composed of hexagonal basalt columns formed 60 million years ago by cooling lava. In the famous Fingal’s Cave, the Atlantic Ocean crashes against these natural stone columns, producing a sound that inspired Felix Mendelssohn to compose his Hebrides Overture in 1829. The island’s signature color is the beige-gray of the basalt—calm, timeless, and unmistakable.
This "Kuuhi " Staffa cashmere bedspread features this natural beige in its purest form—a two-tone pattern of warm cream and soft beige that complements any living space without ever overpowering it. Woven from 100% pure cashmere—the rarest and softest natural fiber in the world.
