William Lockie ’s knit vest has been a staple of the Scottish men’s collection for generations—warm without being restrictive, versatile from spring through fall, and equally at home with a “ Tweed ” blazer or jeans. The turquoise in this version—known internally as “Mallard,” after the iridescent blue-green of a duck’s neck—is the most distinctive color in the range: vibrant enough to stand out, yet subdued enough to pair effortlessly with navy blue, gray, and natural beige.
Knitted in Scotland from 100% pure Geelong lambswool, with two small side pockets, a button placket with five buttons, and ribbed cuffs and hem. Made in Scotland Since 1874, by William Lockie in Hawick.
