William Lockie from Hawick has been knitting since 1874 on precision machines using the finest Mongolian cashmere yarn—the name stands for the highest consistency in quality. Kinalba uses exclusively Mongolian cashmere with a fiber diameter of just 14.5–15.5 microns—one of the finest cashmere fibers in the world, which is not only exceptionally soft but also more resistant to pilling than standard cashmere.
