Cashmere provides better insulation despite being lighter and feels exceptionally soft and light—ideal when comfort is a priority. Lambswool is sturdier and more durable, making it suitable for everyday outdoor use. Both keep you reliably warm; the choice comes down mainly to comfort and budget.

Wash wool and cashmere hats gently by hand at 30 °C using a mild wool detergent, and lay them flat to dry—do not hang them up or put them in the dryer. Also, be sure to follow the instructions on the sewn-in care label, as recommendations may vary slightly depending on the brand.
