Tartan: Auld Scotland

Lochcarron produced this tartan in January 2008, around the anniversary of the national bard Robert Burns. The name Auld Scotland was inspired by the modern version of his toast to the haggis, which was celebrated the following year for its 250th anniversary.

The colors used are reminiscent of the colors of the Ayrshire landscape.
