Laphroaig Founded in 1815 by Donald and Alexander Johnston, it is located on the south coast of Islay, right on the waterfront—the only distillery in the world that Queen Elizabeth II has personally visited and to which she has granted a Royal Warrant. Laphroaig , 10 Years Old “ Cask ” Strength Batch 17 is the unfiltered, undiluted version of this classic—bottled straight from the cask at 58.3% ABV, without cold filtration or dilution with water. Every batch is unique: the strength varies from batch to batch, making Batch 17 one of a kind. A few drops of water open up the “ Whisky ” and reveal its full range of flavors.
Aroma: Intense notes of peat and smoke, seaweed, iodine, and sea salt—powerful and bold, straight from the cask.
Flavor: Tar, smoked meat, pepper, and seafood—full-bodied, complex, and distinctive Laphroaig.
Aftertaste: Long, smoky, and salty—a finish that lingers for minutes after the last sip.
