Thurso is located on the north coast of Scotland—the northernmost city on the Scottish mainland, with a direct view of the Orkney Islands, whose silhouette rises on the horizon on clear days. Further north than Stockholm. The pale beige of the shell sand on the Pentland coast, the orange of the broom on the dunes, and the fresh green of the coastal meadows: these three colors are featured in this Tartan.
