Aberlour is located on the banks of the River Lour, where it flows into the Spey —in the heart of the Speyside, the world’s most concentrated Whisky distilling region. The distillery was founded in 1879 and is known for its consistent use of sherry casks, which give Aberlour whiskeys their characteristic depth and sweetness. Aberlour , 18 Years Old is a batch release—each batch is assembled from hand-selected sherry casks, making every bottling a unique expression of the distillery.
Aroma: Complex and inviting—toffee, ripe peaches, and bitter oranges, underpinned by a warm sherry sweetness.
Flavor: Dates, spices, and dark chocolate with oak and a hint of honey—full-bodied, well-balanced, and long-lasting.
Finish: Medium-long and mild, spicy and pleasantly dry—a smooth, elegant finish.

It's a matter of taste, but most connoisseurs recommend trying " Single Malt " neat at first. A few drops of still water can bring out the flavors and mellow the alcohol smell—especially with whiskies that have a higher alcohol content. Ice cubes are generally not recommended, as the cold suppresses the flavors.
