Men's Socks from Scotland
At The Scottish Shop , you’ll find a hand-selected collection of Scottish men’s socks for every occasion. At the heart of the collection is House of Cheviot, founded in Scotland in 2002 and known for Fairisle patterns, Tartan socks, and merino hiking socks made from 85% merino wool. For chilly evenings, the range is complemented by elegant cashmere lounge socks from Rosie Sugden as well as cashmere socks from our own Kuuhi Scotland collection—soft, warm, and with just the right touch of understated elegance.
Merino, cashmere, or cotton—which socks are right for you?
For hikes and active days outdoors, we recommend the merino hiking socks from House of Cheviot: durable, breathable, and temperature-regulating. For everyday wear in the office or under a kilt, the classic Fairisle and Tartan socks—also made from high-quality merino wool—are ideal. If you prefer something especially soft after work, check out the cashmere lounge socks from Rosie Sugden or Kuuhi Scotland—perfect for cozy evenings on the sofa.
Caring for Your Scottish Men's Socks
House of Cheviot Wash Merino and Fairisle socks at 30°C on the wool cycle, turned inside out, and dry them flat. Cashmere socks from Rosie Sugden are best hand-washed at 30°C using a mild cashmere detergent. Kuuhi Cashmere socks should be hand-washed in cold water to preserve the fiber structure.
