Best time to visit Scotland
The warmest months are June, July and August, with an average temperature of 15-17 degrees. However, it does get a little warmer than that and daylight lasts well past 11pm during the long summer days.
April, May and September are also great months to visit, although you may need a weatherproof outfit.

The highest mountain in Scotland (and the whole of Great Britain) is the 4416 ft / 1345m high Ben Nevis near Fort William. It is one of the so-called Munros. A Munro is a mountain in Scotland that is higher than 3000 ft (914.4m), of which there are a total of 282.
